echo lovegood✗
Echo Lovegood, was born and raised in the capitol. However, her story is different than most.. her parents had been a part of the secret rebellion since the beginning. So for her, it was more than just getting everything from the wealthiness of the capitol. It was about learning how to defend herself for when the time did come, and the people would finally stand up, and say enough!

the life of echo lovegood.. Part 1

She was perfect. At least that’s how everyone had seen her. She was beautiful to say the least. She was… as the capitol would say perfect. Echo had everything any girl at her age, or any age really could want. She had money, a beautiful home, with beautiful clothes, and delicious food. She was wealthy of course, to any body in districts 1 through 12, and 13. But she was wealthy even for being a capitol citizen. Her parents had always been high up in the capitol, which for them and the rest of the rebels was something they desperately needed.

When her mother Siobhan gave birth to her, both Siobhan and her husbandbickered back and forth for days after the birth trying to decide between the two of them what exactly they should do. They wanted her, more than anything, and at first sight they fell completely in love. Of course she would be safe from the games, since she was a capitol citizen but she wouldn’t be safe from the rebel attack once it would finally hit. They kept her of course, neither could bare the terror of giving away a child that they had created from love. But as she grew, time went on and the rebels needed more than ever their connections in the capitol. Neither parent had mentioned the rebels to her, not until she was of age of comprehension. Full comprehension. On her 13th birthday party they didn’t throw her the usual big party, with all of their friends and hers, but instead took her to the place where they had always gone to be alone. Away from the capitol and all its madness.

“You know.. this is a lot to take in.. and understand.. for a thirteen year old.” She brought her eyes to meet with her parents but they were filled with confusion, and worry, but also wonder, and excitement. Her mother reached out to put her arm on her daughters should but Echo only shrug her away. ‘Sweetie, we know this is a lot.. but times are beginning to get harder. The rebels.. they need us now more than ever. All of us.’ She had buried her face in the palms of her hands by now. Taking long deep breaths, trying to calm her heart rate. “I just don’t understand how I can help them.. in any way. I’m not a warrior mother.. I’m just a pretty girl who grew up being given everything she wanted. How could I help in any way?” - - ‘Training.’ Her answer was firm. As if they had been thinking of it months— years before they had any intention of telling this all to Echo. “Training?” Her eyes wondered up to their’s in disbelief. “It’s not like we live next door to a forest we can access freely.” - - ‘No but we do have our den.’ - - “The living room?! How am I suppose to train for battling.. death in a living room?!” - - ‘Well we can make it into a forest.’ - - “I think.. I just want to go home. I need to think about all this.” - - ‘But sweetie, we ju-’ - - “This wasn’t a very good birthday present you know.”

I will post pieces of my story throughout time. So keep an eye out. :)
